AI infrastructure startup Mem0 has raised $24 million in a Series A funding round led by Basis Set Ventures, with participation from Peak XV Partners, Kindred Ventures, GitHub Fund, and Y Combinator. Strategic investors in the round include executives from Datadog, Supabase, PostHog, GitHub, and Weights & Biases.

The fresh capital will be utilized to expand engineering capabilities, support enterprise deployments, and strengthen partnerships with leading AI platforms and developer ecosystems. Developers can access the platform via API and its open-source repository at www.mem0.ai.

Founded in 2023 by Taranjeet Singh and Deshraj Yadav, Mem0 provides a production-ready memory infrastructure for AI agents, enabling them to retain, retrieve, and reason over information across interactions. The platform extracts contextual data from user sessions, resolves conflicting facts, applies confidence scoring, and retrieves relevant context—allowing AI agents to deliver personalized and continuous user experiences.

Mem0 has witnessed rapid developer adoption, boasting 41,000 GitHub stars, 14 million Python package downloads, and a surge in API usage from 35 million in Q1 to 186 million in Q3 2025. The company reports that thousands of teams across startups and enterprises use Mem0 in production environments.

Frameworks such as CrewAI, Flowise, and Langflow have integrated Mem0’s technology, while AWS has chosen the startup as the memory provider for its Agent SDK a significant validation of its infrastructure reliability and scalability.

By allowing developers to add persistent memory to large language model (LLM) applications without building custom data pipelines, Mem0 positions itself as a core layer in AI architecture, comparable to authentication or databases.
