Fintech startup Jupiter Money has raised $15 million (around ₹115 crore) in a fresh funding round backed by existing investors Mirae Asset Venture Investments, BeeNext, and 3one4 Capital. The company’s founder, Jitendra Gupta, also participated in the round through a personal investment.
While Jupiter did not disclose its latest valuation, the startup was last valued at $710 million following its $86 million Series C round in December 2021. To date, it has raised over $160 million from notable investors such as QED Investors, Peak XV Partners, and Matrix Partners.
Growth and Use of Funds
According to the company, the newly infused capital will be used to expand product offerings, scale lending operations, drive customer adoption, and enhance AI-driven financial tools. Jupiter aims to strengthen its technology and regulatory capabilities while pursuing sustainable growth across its digital banking ecosystem.
Platform and Offerings
Founded in 2019, Jupiter offers a unified money management app integrating savings accounts, credit cards, investments, insurance, and loan products. The platform operates under RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI approvals, ensuring compliance across financial services.
Currently, Jupiter serves over 3 million customers, with 60% active users, and around 25% using two or more financial products. Its Account Aggregator feature has surpassed 1 million active users. The startup’s co-branded credit card with CSB Bank has issued over 150,000 cards, with users averaging 24 transactions per month.
Future Outlook
Jupiter’s NBFC arm, backed by investors including Peak XV, Z47, Tiger Global, and QED, plans to expand into personal, SME, and secured loans. The company targets operational breakeven within 24 months and aims to double its user base over the next 2–2.5 years.
The fintech player competes with leading neobanks such as Fi Money, Open Financial Technologies, NiYO Solutions, and FamPay, as it continues shaping India’s evolving digital banking landscape.
