Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX, has partnered with Google to develop India’s largest AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project will also include new green energy infrastructure, supporting advanced AI workloads while promoting sustainable development.
The Google AI hub represents an investment of around $15 billion over five years (2026–2030). It will feature gigawatt-scale data centre operations, a robust subsea cable network, and clean energy generation and storage systems. AdaniConneX and Airtel will work closely with Google to implement the project, ensuring high-performance computing and connectivity for businesses, researchers, and AI-driven innovations.
The AI hub will significantly expand India’s computing capacity, positioning the country as a global AI hub. Both partners are committed to sustainability, planning new transmission lines and energy storage solutions to power the data centre while strengthening the local electricity grid.

The AI campus is expected to be a major driver of economic growth and job creation in Andhra Pradesh and across India. The project is projected to generate tens of thousands of jobs in technology, construction, and clean energy sectors while promoting digital inclusivity and technological advancement.
With this collaboration, Visakhapatnam is set to become a global technology destination, supporting India’s ambitions in AI, digital infrastructure, and sustainable innovation.
