Two judges from Shark Tank India have invested ₹75 lakh in Capture A Trip (CAT), a Delhi-based experiential travel brand, at a valuation of ₹15 crore. The funding will support the company’s plans to expand international routes while strengthening its presence across offbeat Indian destinations, deepening its engagement with India’s youth travel ecosystem.
Funding Details and Deal Structure
The investment was finalised during an episode of Shark Tank India Season 5, where Nitin Khanna, Founder & CEO, and Anurag Singhal, Co-founder & CBO, pitched for ₹75 lakh in exchange for 5% equity. After multiple counter-offers and negotiations, the final deal matched the ask, valuing the company at ₹15 crore.
The deal was jointly backed by Kunal Bahl, Indian entrepreneur and former CEO of Snapdeal, and Mohit Yadav, Co-founder & CEO of Minimalist. Both investors initially made individual offers before coming together to close the deal.

Founded as an experiential travel platform, Capture A Trip curates community-driven journeys across India and select international destinations. The brand focuses on first-time travellers, solo explorers, and young professionals, with an emphasis on safety, social connection, and immersive local experiences.
