Senior Management Exit Disclosed
Ola Electric Mobility has disclosed the resignation of Vishal Chaturvedi, Business Head for cell operations and a designated senior management personnel. In a regulatory filing to stock exchanges, the Bhavish Aggarwal-led electric vehicle maker said Chaturvedi stepped down with effect from the close of business hours on December 31, 2025.

Regulatory Filing and Compliance
The disclosure was made under the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, along with a November 2024 SEBI circular governing senior management disclosures. Ola Electric also attached a copy of Chaturvedi’s resignation letter to the filing.

Reason for Resignation
In his resignation letter, Chaturvedi cited personal commitments as the reason for his decision. He said he was stepping down with appreciation for the organisation and acknowledged the support received from colleagues, stakeholders and the leadership team during his tenure.

Role and Responsibilities
Chaturvedi joined Ola Electric in 2022 and oversaw the company’s cell operations, a key vertical within its manufacturing and technology roadmap. The cell division plays a central role in Ola Electric’s vertical integration strategy, aimed at improving cost efficiency, supply chain control and long-term margins.

Cell Manufacturing Push
Ola Electric has been scaling the deployment of its indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell across select scooter and motorcycle models. Recently, the company received certification under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules for its Roadster X+ electric motorcycle, which is powered by the in-house 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. The certification enables the start of deliveries and supports a broader rollout of the company’s cell technology.

Incentives and Outlook
The company has also benefited from government incentives linked to localisation. For the financial year ended March 2025, Ola Electric secured ₹366.78 crore under the Production Linked Incentive scheme for automobiles and auto components. Ola Electric has not announced a successor or interim replacement for the cell operations role.
