Indrajaal Drone Defence has unveiled India’s first Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle (ADPV) a fully mobile, AI-enabled counter-drone combat system engineered to transform how India detects, tracks, and neutralises hostile drones across borders, cities, and critical infrastructure.
Unlike traditional vehicle-mounted anti-drone units that work only when stationary, the ADPV called the Indrajaal Ranger can actively detect and intercept rogue drones while in motion, delivering real-time protection across border roads, agricultural belts, coastal zones, industrial corridors, and dense urban environments.
A Response to Escalating Drone Threats
The development comes amid a steep rise in drone-based trafficking and infiltration. Recent incidents including ISI-linked cross-border smuggling of weapons and narcotics, and the BSF neutralising 255 Pakistani drones this year underscore how drones have become the primary transport channel for India’s ₹3-lakh-crore drug ecosystem and a growing tool for terror networks.
Indrajaal engineered the Ranger as a rapid-response defence vehicle that brings together on-the-move surveillance, AI-driven threat assessment, cyber takeover, and multi-layer drone neutralisation ensuring every intercepted drone is “a life protected.”
Leaders Call It a Transformational Breakthrough
Speaking at the launch, Lt Gen Devendra Pratap Pandey (Retd) said,
“Technologies like the Anti-Drone Patrol Vehicle are not just machines they are shields protecting our children, our farmers, and our future. This is a transformative contribution to India’s security.”
Indrajaal Founder & CEO Kiran Raju added,
“Each drone neutralised translates to lives protected and India’s internal security strengthened. This is our mission—to defend freedom.”

Inside the Indrajaal Ranger
Built on an all-terrain 4×4 platform, the Ranger delivers:
- 10 km detection & 4 km mitigation range
- Multi-sensor detection with RF analytics & computer vision
- AI Track-Lock for continuous pursuit
- Cyber takeover, soft-kill, and Zombee interceptor drones
- SkyOS™ autonomy engine for real-time decision-making
- Two-operator deployment and off-grid capability
A New Shield for India
Designed for border forces, police units, and critical-infrastructure protection, the ADPV addresses India’s evolving threat landscape where drones carry drugs, weapons, explosives, and surveillance payloads deep into Indian territory.
With the Ranger, Indrajaal positions India as a global leader in mobile counter-UAS capability bringing speed, autonomy, and decisive response to a battlefield where “the enemy now flies.”
