AIESEC in Delhi IIT, in collaboration with the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives at IIT Delhi, has announced the return of Stand By HER 2025, one of its flagship initiatives dedicated to advancing gender equality, women empowerment, and social inclusion. Scheduled for November 29, 2025, the event will bring together youth leaders, corporates, educational institutions, NGOs, and community voices to drive collaborative, impact-led action.
Envisioned as a transformative platform, Stand By HER aims to amplify women’s voices, address the structural and cultural challenges they face, and co-create sustainable solutions. Over the years, the initiative has evolved into a high-impact movement that engages thousands across India, strengthening youth leadership in the space of gender equity.
Strong Industry Partnerships for 2025 Edition
The 2025 edition has attracted significant support from industry and sports organisations. Havells has joined as the Official Partner, contributing its legacy of innovation and commitment to inclusive development. The Kabaddi Champions League has signed on as the Official Sports Partner, highlighting the role of sports in fostering empowerment, representation, and community engagement.
These partnerships reflect a growing recognition that gender equality requires cross-sector participation and shared accountability.
Aligned with Global Sustainable Development Goals
Stand By HER continues to be closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While the primary focus is SDG 5: Gender Equality, the initiative also aims to influence interconnected areas such as quality education, decent work and economic opportunity, and reduced inequalities. This integrated approach supports broader outcomes by addressing barriers in education, employment, access, and societal norms.
AIESEC’s 44-Year Legacy of Youth Leadership
AIESEC in Delhi IIT, established in 1981 as the organisation’s first Local Committee in India, brings over four decades of experience in developing youth leadership. Past editions of Stand By HER have impacted more than 1,000 individuals, mobilised 500+ youth volunteers, and achieved a media outreach of over 10 million.
Driving the Next Era of Gender Inclusion
With Stand By HER 2025, AIESEC in Delhi IIT aims to deepen its commitment to creating actionable, measurable, and youth-powered change. The initiative reinforces a clear mandate: true gender equality demands collective ownership, precision-led interventions, and sustained collaboration across India’s social and corporate landscape.
