The app was built entirely by one person without co-founders, employees, or investors. Every feature, every line of code, every support ticket, and every marketing effort was handled after office hours. The founder reinvested his monthly salary into maintaining the product, improving listener training, and ensuring user safety.

Morbid has crossed 3 lakh downloads, engages 1,000+ daily active users, and has achieved ₹1.5 Cr+ annual recurring revenue all completely bootstrapped. Its growth reflects a clear need for anonymous, accessible emotional support within India’s young population.
