BabyOrgano Raises Rs 20 Crore to Expand Ayurvedic Wellness Portfolio for Children

Ayurvedic wellness brand BabyOrgano has raised Rs 20 crore ($2.4 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with participation from existing investor Sauce.vc. The company plans to utilise the fresh capital for product development, marketing, and scaling operations as it eyes Rs 100 crore in revenue by FY27.

Expanding Ayurveda for Modern Childcare

Founded in 2020 by Riddhi and Ripul Sharma, BabyOrgano focuses on Ayurveda-based wellness solutions designed for children’s daily health and immunity needs. The Ahmedabad-based startup has built a community of over one million parents and reports a 40% repeat purchase rate, underscoring strong consumer trust in its formulations.

Diverse Product Portfolio

BabyOrgano’s product line includes immune-support and everyday wellness solutions such as Baalprashan Swarnaprashan Drops, Cold Relief Roll-On, Cough Syrup, Sitopaladi Churna, Chocovita Milk Mix, and Ayurvedic gummies. These over-the-counter products are designed for easy integration into modern parenting routines and are available via online marketplaces and retail stores nationwide.

Strategy for Market Expansion

The company plans to increase product innovation, expand its retail and distribution network, and enhance brand visibility across India. It also aims to strengthen its supply chain and production processes to support scaling and new product launches in the children’s healthcare segment.

Competing in the Kids’ Ayurvedic Space

BabyOrgano operates in India’s growing Ayurvedic and natural child wellness market, competing with established players like Mamaearth (kids range), The Moms Co., Mother Sparsh, Dabur (kids Ayurveda range), Himalaya BabyCare, and Kapiva Kids.
