Rusk Media Raises $12 Million Series B to Expand Global Entertainment Footprint

Rusk Media, a Gen-Z and Alpha-first digital entertainment company, has raised Rs 103 crore ($12 million) in its Series B funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from LC Nueva, InfoEdge Ventures, Woori Venture Partners, and the company’s promoters and family. This follows the company’s $9.5 million Series A led by DAOL Investment and Audacity Ventures, bringing total funding to approximately $12 million.

Funding Purpose

The fresh capital will support Rusk Media’s global expansion into the US, Europe, and EMEA markets while driving the creation of new entertainment IPs for international audiences. The company leverages AI-powered production and distribution workflows to efficiently create and engage audiences across social media and OTT platforms.

Founded as a full-stack content company, Rusk Media produces and distributes web series, unscripted formats, micro-dramas, and live events. Notable shows include Battleground, Playground S4, Engaged, The Society, School Friends, and Roomies. Its platforms, Rumble (B2B) and Alright App (B2C), collectively generate nearly 1 billion monthly views across social media and OTT channels.

The company claims full ownership of its IPs and maintains end-to-end capabilities from ideation and production to distribution and monetization, with a mobile-first approach aimed at young, digitally native audiences globally.

Rusk Media reported Rs 56.8 crore in revenue in FY24, marking a 40.6% year-on-year growth, while reducing losses by 56% to Rs 28.7 crore. FY25 financials are yet to be filed.
