Bellevue / Bengaluru · August, 2025 — Enterprise contract management leader Icertis has announced a major leadership transition. Anand Subbaraman, currently the company’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding co-founder Samir Bodas, who will move into the role of Executive Chairman.

Bodas, who co-founded Icertis in 2009 alongside Monish Darda, has led the company through a period of rapid growth to become a global leader in AI-powered contract lifecycle management (CLM). Under his leadership, Icertis has built a customer base that includes more than one-third of the Fortune 100 and achieved an annual recurring revenue of approximately $350 million.

Subbaraman brings over 25 years of experience in enterprise software to the role, with leadership positions at companies including Oracle, BrowserStack, and Finastra. Since joining Icertis in 2023, he has played a key role in scaling operations, strengthening go-to-market strategies, and advancing the company’s AI-led product innovations.

The leadership change comes as Icertis looks to deepen its focus on next-generation AI capabilities for contract intelligence. In a statement, Bodas cited both personal health considerations and strategic alignment as reasons for the timing, noting that Subbaraman’s operational depth and product expertise make him “ideally suited to lead Icertis into its next phase of growth.”

Founded in Pune and now headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, Icertis operates globally with development centers in India and offices in key international markets. The company’s AI-powered CLM platform is used by enterprises to structure, manage, and optimize contracts, helping to reduce risk and drive compliance.
