Grab-and-go coffee chain abcoffee has raised ₹61 crore ($6.39 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by Kliff Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures, Merisis Venture Fund, and Stride Ventures.

Expansion Plans and Operational Growth

The company said the fresh capital will be deployed to expand across existing and new markets, strengthen backend and supply chain operations, improve technology infrastructure, and invest in subscriptions, customer engagement, and product innovation.

Founded in 2022 by Abhijeet Anand, abcoffee currently operates more than 90 outlets across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru through compact grab-and-go store formats.

The startup reported strong operational momentum in FY26, claiming its revenue doubled during the year while store-level EBITDA increased 193.2% year-on-year.

App-Led Growth and New Product Categories

According to the company, over 50% of takeaway orders are now placed through its app, while its subscription platform pre-sells more than 40,000 beverages every month.

abcoffee has also expanded into newer product segments with matcha-based drinks and protein coffee offerings under its Procaff brand.

The startup competes with brands such as Third Wave Coffee, Blue Tokai, Rage Coffee, and Slay Coffee in India’s rapidly growing premium coffee market.

Earlier, in March 2024, the company had raised $3.4 million in a Series A round led by Nexus Venture Partners.
