E-commerce logistics major XpressBees has appointed Mohit Sardana as the Chief Executive Officer of its B2C vertical, a move aimed at strengthening its delivery solutions and customer experience in India’s fast-growing e-commerce market.

Sardana, with over 20 years of leadership experience in business strategy, operations, and digital transformation, will spearhead the company’s consumer-facing operations. Prior to this role, he served as COO of Zomato’s food delivery business, played a key role in Blinkit’s leadership, and held senior positions at MakeMyTrip and Accenture.

Welcoming the appointment, Amitava Saha, MD & CEO of XpressBees, said Sardana’s expertise in scaling consumer businesses and driving digital-first strategies will be crucial as the company deepens its B2C footprint.

Founded in 2015, XpressBees has emerged as a leading end-to-end logistics player covering e-commerce, B2B, 3PL, and cross-border logistics. The company is backed by global investors including Blackstone, TPG, and Alibaba, and has raised $625 million to date, according to startup intelligence platform TheKredible.

XpressBees has also been expanding through acquisitions and leadership hires. In July 2023, it acquired courier firm Trackon and appointed Uday R. Sharma as CBO to lead B2B, 3PL, and cross-border businesses.

With the e-commerce sector in India projected to grow rapidly, Sardana’s leadership is expected to position XpressBees as a stronger B2C logistics player while keeping pace with changing consumer expectations.
