Truva Raises $9 Mn to Scale Data-Led Home Resales

India’s Resale Housing Market Still Lacks Transparency

India’s residential resale market remains highly fragmented, with buyers often navigating opaque pricing, incomplete listings, and complex paperwork. While primary sales have seen digital adoption, resale transactions continue to rely on brokers and offline processes, creating inefficiencies in discovery, due diligence, and execution. This gap has opened space for proptech platforms focused on intelligence-led, full-stack transaction support.

Funding Snapshot and Capital Mix

Mumbai-based proptech startup Truva has raised $9 million (around ₹78 crore) in a funding round co-led by Stellaris Venture Partners and Orios Venture Partners.
Of the total, $7.3 million was raised through equity, while $1.7 million came as venture debt from Stride Ventures. The round also saw participation from angel investors including Mukesh Bansal, Ramakant Sharma, Aakrit Vaish, and Miten Sampat.

What Truva Is Building

Founded in 2023 by Puneet Arora, Monil Singhal, and Ankit Gupta, Truva is building a real estate intelligence platform focused on resale homes. It combines curated inventory with data-led insights such as natural light scores, noise ratings, 3D tours, and high-quality visual content. Beyond discovery, Truva supports buyers with financing, legal checks, documentation, and registration, positioning itself as an end-to-end execution partner rather than a listings marketplace.

Why This Funding Matters

The fresh capital will be used to deepen Truva’s presence in Mumbai, expand into Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, strengthen its intelligence platform, and fund inventory-linked working capital to scale transactions. With over ₹300 crore in resale transactions completed and a target of crossing ₹1,000 crore in annualised GMV, Truva’s growth reflects investor belief that resale housing is the next major digitisation frontier. For Indian founders, the round underscores how combining data, capital, and execution can unlock value in traditionally opaque, high-ticket markets.
