A Journey That Began With Uncertainty
After completing his 10th grade, Jashwanth took an unconventional path by joining a Diploma program to explore new possibilities. His passion for technology led him to pursue B.Tech, shifting departments from EEE to CSE a dream move, but one filled with challenges. Entering straight into second year with no foundational knowledge, he found himself overwhelmed.
There was no mentorship.
No roadmap.
No structured support system for students transitioning between fields.
“It was fear and confusion every single day,” he recalls.
Finding Purpose Through Helping Others
During this period, Jashwanth joined NSS and soon became a student coordinator. Helping juniors, clearing doubts, and guiding peers slowly evolved from a responsibility into a calling.
This is when the realization hit him:
“If I struggled this much without guidance, how many more students are silently facing the same?”
The Sacrifice That Started It All
After graduation, Jashwanth took up a job in an MNC and saved his salary for almost a year. But the turning point came from home his family believed in the idea so deeply that they contributed their own savings to help him build the platform he once wished he had.
“That trust became my responsibility,” he says.
And that responsibility became Student Forge.
