Bath-tech company SteamPRO has raised ₹3.8 crore in a seed funding round co-led by Anicut Capital, Zeropearl VC, D2C Insider Super Angels, and Atrium Ventures, with participation from strategic angel investors. The funding will support expansion of manufacturing capabilities and strengthen the company’s hydro wellness product portfolio.
Funding To Strengthen Manufacturing And Service Expansion
The fresh capital will be deployed to expand in-house manufacturing capacity, scale national service operations, and build a pipeline of new hydro wellness solutions. SteamPRO aims to strengthen product availability while building a scalable service infrastructure to support installations across India.
Transforming Bathrooms Into Wellness Spaces
Co-founded in 2020 by Sumir and Pravir Chadha, SteamPRO builds sustainable, design-led hydro wellness solutions designed for modern residential spaces. The company focuses on enhancing everyday wellbeing, recovery, and longevity by converting bathrooms into integrated wellness environments.
The Delhi-based startup’s flagship offering includes spa-grade steam showers designed for premium homes. These systems are engineered for seamless installation without major structural redesign. SteamPRO builds its solutions around three core principles — Water Joy, Hydro Wellness, and Water Consciousness — combining experience-driven design with sustainability.
Market Opportunity And Expansion Strategy
India’s home wellness segment is witnessing strong growth, with spending increasing at over 20 percent annually. The bathroom and sanitaryware market alone is estimated to exceed ₹30,000 crore, creating significant opportunities for innovation-driven wellness solutions.
SteamPRO claims to have built early traction in the Delhi NCR region, delivering over 3,000 daily steam sessions across installed units and receiving more than 100 home survey requests weekly. Over the next 18 months, the company plans to expand into metro cities and new residential wellness segments while strengthening its national footprint. The startup competes with established brands such as Jaquar, Kohler, Grohe, Woven Gold, and Mr. Steam.
