Former Eight Roads Investor Joins Amid Leadership Transition
Global investment firm Steadview Capital has appointed Maneesh Menon as its India director, strengthening its leadership presence in one of its key markets. Menon is expected to join from Eight Roads Ventures, where he was part of the investment team.
The appointment comes after the departure of Puneet Kumar, who exited the firm in October last year and later joined Mirae Asset Venture Investments as India CEO.
Strengthening India Presence Across Public and Private Markets
Steadview Capital is a technology-focused global investment firm with over $3 billion in assets under management. The firm invests across both public and private markets, backing high-growth companies with strong fundamentals and long-term potential.
Menon’s appointment is expected to support Steadview’s investment strategy in India, where the firm has been an active backer of technology-led businesses across sectors including consumer internet, SaaS, and fintech.
Strong Portfolio Across India’s Startup Ecosystem
Steadview’s India portfolio includes companies such as Dream11, Nykaa, Unacademy, Freshworks, Ola, Urban Company, PolicyBazaar, and Zomato, among others.
The leadership addition reflects continued investor focus on India’s startup ecosystem as global funds expand their presence in the market.
