Paras Anti-Drone Technologies, a subsidiary of Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd., has secured an order worth ₹46.19 crore from the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for supplying advanced anti-drone systems to the Indian armed forces. The contract, which includes drone jammers, is slated for execution by March 2026, marking a significant milestone in India’s domestic counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) sector.
The order underscores the growing need for indigenous solutions to tackle the increasing threat posed by hostile drones, which are being deployed for surveillance, smuggling, and potential security breaches. Paras Anti-Drone’s systems are designed to detect and neutralize such UAVs in real time, strengthening the armed forces’ operational readiness.
This development aligns with the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative, reinforcing India’s drive towards self-reliance in defence manufacturing. As drone usage accelerates across both civilian and military domains, demand for advanced counter-drone technologies is rising, creating opportunities for domestic manufacturers to provide sophisticated solutions tailored to national security needs.
Ashutosh Baheti, CEO of Paras Anti-Drone Technologies, said, “This order reflects the confidence of the Ministry of Defence in our indigenous capabilities. We remain committed to delivering effective, Made-in-India solutions that enhance the security and operational efficiency of the armed forces.”
Paras Anti-Drone specialises in wide-band detection and jamming systems operating from 400 MHz to 6 GHz, leveraging its parent company Paras Defence’s decades of expertise in defence and aerospace. The subsidiary has been instrumental in developing cutting-edge anti-drone technologies and RF/microwave solutions that combine precision, reliability, and scalability.
With this contract, Paras Anti-Drone Technologies not only strengthens its position in the domestic defence sector but also reinforces India’s strategic capabilities in counter-UAV operations, supporting the government’s vision of self-reliance and technological sovereignty.
