Panasonic Deepens India Focus with Ignition 3.0 Winners Red Health and Respirer Living Sciences

Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), along with Panasonic Corporation (PC), has announced Red Health and Respirer Living Sciences as the joint winners of Panasonic Ignition 3.0, the company’s startup accelerator programme focused on redefining the future of residential living in India.

Innovation Aligned to Residential Challenges

Anchored around the theme “Residential Business Challenges,” Ignition 3.0 spotlighted innovations across smart technologies, sustainability, wellness, connected living, and community focused solutions. The programme reflects Panasonic’s long-term strategy of co-creating future-ready residential technologies with agile startups.

Winning Solutions at a Glance

Red Health operates a technology-led emergency response platform offering end-to-end services from the “first minute to the last mile,” addressing critical gaps in urban and residential emergency care.
Respirer Living Sciences develops IoT-enabled energy recovery ventilators that maintain healthy indoor air quality while optimising energy efficiency an increasingly important requirement for modern homes.

Rigorous Selection and Startup Collaboration

Organised in partnership with Beyond Next Ventures, Ignition 3.0 attracted 113 applications from early- and mid-stage startups across India. Following a multi-stage evaluation, 11 startups were selected into a three-month cohort where they participated in curated masterclasses, received mentorship from Panasonic experts, refined business models, validated technologies, and strengthened go-to-market strategies.

“India is now the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem, growing at 12–15% annually,” said Tadashi Chiba, MD & CEO, Panasonic Life Solutions India. “Ignition 3.0 reflects our philosophy of ‘Create Today, Enrich Tomorrow,’ where innovation serves a larger purpose improving quality of life and building future-ready communities.”

Strategic Value Beyond Acceleration

Kunio Gohara, Chief Transformation Officer and Head of the CVC Office, Panasonic Corporation, highlighted that Ignition functions as a strategic investment pipeline. The programme enables Panasonic to identify founders who can become long-term partners and co-create solutions that scale across global markets.

Accelerate Award Winners and Ecosystem Impact

Alongside the IGNITE winners, Panasonic also recognised Ambiator, Biomoneta, Cantata, and Kubo Care with ACCELERATE awards. These startups will collaborate with Panasonic on pilot deployments and explore mid-term strategic partnerships.
