Lightspeed backs OfficeBanao’s workspace expansion plans
Gurugram-based proptech startup OfficeBanao has raised nearly $4 million as part of a $7.7 million funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Mangum II and Medra Family. The round values the company at around $70 million post-money. The fresh capital will be used to expand operations, strengthen technology infrastructure, and scale the platform across additional cities in India.
Building a tech-enabled platform for office interiors
Founded in 2022 by Tushar Mittal along with Akshya Kumar and Divyanshu Sharma, OfficeBanao operates a technology-led platform for commercial office interiors and workspace buildouts. The startup offers end-to-end services including design, procurement, project management, and execution for offices and retail spaces. Its model aims to simplify the complex workspace creation process for businesses of different sizes.
Unified system connects the workspace supply chain
OfficeBanao’s platform brings together architects, contractors, designers, furniture vendors, and material suppliers through a unified system. It manages the full lifecycle of workspace projects, from planning and 3D design to sourcing and on-ground construction. This integrated approach helps businesses execute interior projects more efficiently while maintaining better visibility across timelines and costs.
Revenue growth highlights rising demand in commercial interiors
OfficeBanao serves projects ranging from Rs 10 lakh to over Rs 5 crore, catering to startups, SMEs, and large enterprises. The company claims to have completed 200 projects across more than 40 cities in India. Its revenue has grown significantly from Rs 22 crore in FY23 to Rs 138 crore in FY25, and it is targeting Rs 225 crore in FY26. The startup competes with companies such as Flipspaces and All Home in the tech-led interior solutions market.
