Nvidia Teams Up With Top Indian VCs to Back AI Startups

AI chip leader Nvidia has announced partnerships with leading Indian venture capital firms including Peak XV Partners, Elevation Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and Accel to identify and fund promising AI startups. The initiative aims to support startups building AI solutions for domestic and global markets, strengthening India’s position in the global AI ecosystem.

Nvidia said over 4,000 Indian AI startups are already part of its Inception program, which provides access to technical support, infrastructure, and go-to-market guidance.

Expanding GPU Infrastructure Through Data Centre Partnerships

Nvidia is also expanding its infrastructure presence by partnering with Indian data centre and cloud providers. The company is supplying its latest Blackwell Ultra graphics processing units (GPUs) to Yotta Data Services and E2E Networks to power AI workloads.

Yotta is building a large-scale data centre equipped with over 20,000 Nvidia Blackwell chips, with planned investments exceeding $2 billion. Meanwhile, E2E Networks is deploying AI cloud services powered by Nvidia GPUs in collaboration with Larsen & Toubro’s data centre business.

India Emerging as Strategic Market for Global AI Expansion

Nvidia’s expanded engagement aligns with India’s push to become a global AI hub, supported by strong enterprise demand, public sector adoption, and a growing startup ecosystem. While India currently represents a smaller share of Nvidia’s revenue, the country’s large developer base and rising infrastructure investments offer significant long-term growth opportunities.

The partnerships highlight Nvidia’s strategy to build both the startup pipeline and computing infrastructure needed to accelerate AI innovation across India.
