Flipkart Group has appointed Sharon Pais as the new head of Myntra, following the decision of outgoing CEO Nandita Sinha to step down. Pais will report to Kalyan Krishnamurthy and take charge with immediate effect.
Pais previously led the fashion category at Flipkart and served as Chief Business Officer at Myntra, bringing strong operational experience and continuity to the leadership transition. Nandita Sinha will continue to support the transition in the coming months.
Leadership Reshuffle and Strategic Focus Areas
As part of the restructuring, Kapil Thirani will lead Flipkart Fashion and report to Sakait Chaudhary. The company has also initiated a search for a new leader for its marketplace business.
Under Pais’ leadership, Myntra plans to scale its quick commerce vertical M-Now, positioning it as a key growth driver. Launched in November 2024, M-Now enables delivery of fashion and beauty products within 30 minutes to two hours.
M-Now Expansion and Financial Momentum
The service is currently live across 10 cities, covering more than 940 pin codes and offering over 100,000 styles from 1,000+ brands. It competes with emerging players such as Slikk, Knot, and Zilo in the fast-growing fashion quick commerce space.
During Nandita Sinha’s tenure, Myntra achieved its first profitable fiscal year. The company’s profit surged 18x to ₹548 crore in FY25 from ₹30 crore in FY24, while revenue grew 18% to ₹6,042.7 crore.
The leadership transition comes at a time when Myntra is doubling down on speed-led commerce and scaling its next phase of growth.
