Microsoft has signed a strategic partnership with Indian IT giants Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant to accelerate the deployment of agentic AI across global enterprises, CEO Satya Nadella announced on Wednesday during his India visit. The partnership marks a significant shift from AI experimentation to full-scale enterprise adoption.

Microsoft said the companies will integrate Copilot into daily workflows to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and drive sector-wide digital transformation.

The partnership comes just a day after Nadella announced Microsoft’s plan to invest $17.5 billion in India to expand cloud and AI infrastructure by 2029. Nadella said there is “great momentum in India” around AI and agentic AI applications, adding that the firm’s investment combined with this partnership signals a major leap forward for the ecosystem.
