Healthtech startup MedySeva has raised Rs 4 crore in a seed funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the company’s hybrid healthcare model, strengthen digital infrastructure, and scale patient outreach across India’s underserved regions.

Focus on Phygital Expansion and Digital Integration

MedySeva said it will utilise the funds to establish new phygital healthcare clinics in tier-II and tier-III locations, upgrade its telemedicine platform, and build on-ground operations and clinical support teams. The expansion aims to bridge the healthcare accessibility gap by integrating teleconsultation with local in-person doctor support.

Hybrid Model for Rural and Semi-Urban India

Founded in 2022 by Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, MedySeva operates on a phygital model combining teleconsultation and physical clinics. The startup connects patients with certified doctors across multiple medical specialties through a centralised digital platform supported by satellite clinics.

MedySeva has delivered over 1,00,000 consultations in the past 12 months and reports a 60% repeat-patient rate, reflecting strong community adoption. The firm now targets 2 lakh annual consultations within the next 18 months.

Partnerships and Growth Strategy

To expand reach, the company has partnered with medical colleges to set up satellite clinics and onboarded specialists across 10 medical disciplines. It has also collaborated with pharmacies and local healthcare providers to create an integrated rural care ecosystem.

MedySeva plans to establish over 500 hybrid healthcare centres across India within the next 18–24 months and expand into five new states through institutional and government partnerships.

Competitive Landscape

MedySeva operates in India’s growing rural healthcare sector, competing with telemedicine and primary care platforms such as Practo, Medibuddy, Clinikk, HealthPlix, CureBay, and eSanjeevani.
