Lorazzo Raises ₹5 Cr to Build Home Fittings for Indian Homes

Why Home Fittings in India Need Rethinking

Anyone who has lived in an Indian home knows the reality: fluctuating water pressure, high TDS levels, and fittings that wear out faster than expected. Most kitchen and bathroom products in the market are either imported or designed for conditions that don’t match how Indian households actually function. That gap is now pushing consumers to look for brands built specifically for local usage, not global assumptions.

Funding Snapshot

Home improvement startup Lorazzo has raised ₹5 crore in a seed funding round led by Sprout Venture Partners and First Cheque. The round also saw participation from Chandigarh Angel Network and a group of angel investors.
The capital will be used to speed up product innovation, strengthen design and technology capabilities, and scale Lorazzo’s omnichannel presence across India.

What Lorazzo Is Actually Building

Founded in 2024 by Jatin Luthra and Saurabh Gupta, Lorazzo operates in the kitchen and bathroom fittings space, offering products like smart bidets, kitchen faucets, stainless steel and quartz sinks, and modular accessories. What sets the brand apart is its focus on real Indian household conditions, designing products that work reliably despite inconsistent water pressure and varying TDS levels. Lorazzo currently sells through its own website and is present on major ecommerce and quick commerce platforms.

Why This Matters

Lorazzo’s seed round reflects a broader shift in India’s home improvement market. Consumers are no longer upgrading homes only during big renovations; they are making thoughtful, incremental upgrades that solve daily problems. For founders, the lesson is simple: brands that start with lived Indian realities, not imported templates, have a stronger chance of building trust and long-term relevance in this category.
