Global investment management firm Lighthouse Canton has raised $40 million in a strategic funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Nextinfinity, the investment holding company of Shyam Maheshwari (Founding Partner, SSG Capital / Ares SSG), and existing investor Qatar Insurance Company (QIC).
This marks Lighthouse Canton’s first external fundraise since its inception, aimed at strengthening technology infrastructure, expanding product capabilities, and scaling operations across multiple regions.
Focus on Technology and Leadership Growth
The company stated that the funds will be deployed to enhance technology platforms, develop new investment products, hire senior leadership, and expand its geographical footprint across global financial hubs. This move aligns with Lighthouse Canton’s goal to evolve into a next-generation investment institution leveraging data, analytics, and digital innovation.
A Global Financial Institution
Founded in 2014, Lighthouse Canton operates as a global investment firm with two core verticals wealth management and asset management. The company manages over $5 billion in assets across Singapore, India, the UAE, and the UK, providing investment and advisory solutions for both private clients and institutions.
Serving High-Net-Worth and Institutional Clients
The firm’s wealth management division serves high-net-worth individuals, family offices, entrepreneurs, and corporates, while its asset management arm manages strategies across hedge funds, private equity, real estate, private credit, venture capital, and public markets.
With a team of more than 200 professionals operating from offices in Singapore, Dubai, India, and London, Lighthouse Canton provides cross-border investment advisory and multi-asset management services.
Investor Confidence in India’s Financial Ecosystem
The funding comes amid heightened interest in India’s and Asia’s asset management ecosystem, driven by growing capital flows into emerging markets. Earlier today, ChrysCapital announced the close of its $2.2 billion Fund X, the largest India-focused private equity fund underscoring rising global investor confidence in the region’s financial growth narrative.
