HooLiv, a student co-living platform, has raised Rs 24 crore ($2.73 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Negen Capital, with participation from institutional investors, family offices, and angel investors. This marks a significant step in HooLiv’s expansion plans, building on its previous undisclosed funding from Kotle-Patil Developers in February 2020.
The funding will support HooLiv’s growth in non-metro cities, including new bed acquisitions, brand-building initiatives, and enhancements to its property management platform. The company also plans to explore international replication of its business model to tap into global student housing markets.
Founded by Chinmoy Mishra, Rasmi Mishra, Gaurav Vij, and Abhishek Verma, HooLiv operates purpose-built student accommodations near universities and coaching hubs. The platform focuses on delivering organized, technology-enabled housing, ensuring standardized operations, consistent living conditions, and cost-effective solutions for both property owners and students.
HooLiv integrates real estate management with technology, offering services that include maintenance, security, and community engagement. The platform collaborates with property owners and educational institutions to convert and manage large-scale facilities as student housing assets, addressing operational challenges while improving the student living experience.
