Mumbai-based dessert cafe chain FES Cafe has raised $1 million (around Rs 8.4 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round led by 12 Flags, with participation from existing investor Wolfpack Labs, the venture studio founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta.

The round follows FES Cafe’s earlier Rs 3 crore seed investment from Wolfpack Labs in July 2025. The startup plans to use the fresh funds to expand operations across Delhi NCR, strengthen delivery and production capabilities, and hire key talent to scale its experiential food model.

Building India’s Dessert-First Cafe Experience

Founded by Vidur Mayor, FES Cafe is an eggless dessert and comfort food chain offering an inventive menu of baked cookies, puddings, seasonal desserts, alternative-ingredient cakes, savoury bites, and signature experiences like Coffee Raves a hybrid of food, music, and community events.

The cafe positions itself as a third space for young India, combining indulgent food with immersive social formats that appeal to Gen Z and millennial audiences. With a strong offline presence in Mumbai, FES Cafe is now looking to bring its dessert-first ecosystem to new metro markets.

Expanding Presence and Scaling Operations

The brand will deploy capital toward building a central production kitchen, enhancing delivery infrastructure, and expanding to high-footfall urban centres. “FES Cafe started with a simple belief: desserts deserve to be celebrated,” said Vidur Mayor, Founder and CEO. “With 12 Flags’ and Wolfpack’s support, we’re ready to take that vision to more neighborhoods, creating dessert-first cafes that double as community spaces.”
