EndureAir Systems, a deep-tech UAV and aerial robotics company, has raised ₹25 crore ($2.85 million) in funding led by IAN Alpha Fund with participation from IAN Angel Fund.
The startup plans to channel the fresh capital into strengthening its defense-focused UAV capabilities, expanding into enterprise use cases, and fast-tracking the development of next-generation high-altitude logistics and aerial robotics platforms.
Indigenous Edge in UAVs
Founded in 2018 by Dr. Abhishek along with his former students Rama Krishna and Chirag Jain, EndureAir has built a reputation for designing rugged, fully indigenous UAVs tailored for logistics, defense, surveillance, and disaster response. Unlike drone assemblers, the company develops both hardware and software in-house, drawing on over 15 years of rotorcraft research and supported by eight patents in flight dynamics and autonomy.
Proven Portfolio
The firm’s UAV lineup includes:
- Sabal – A heavy-lift logistics drone (10–70 kg payload) inducted by the Indian Army’s Eastern Command.
- Vibhram – A long-endurance UAV used in Telangana’s Medicine from the Sky vaccine delivery program.
- Alakh – A nano-UAV deployed in rescue operations, from the Chamoli cloudburst to the Turkey earthquake.
EndureAir is also co-developing high-altitude logistics drones with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and piloting missions in Bhutan with Druk Holding & Investments (DHI).
Market Positioning
Operating from Noida, EndureAir competes with leading UAV firms such as IdeaForge, Garuda Aerospace, and NewSpace Research. With defense, logistics, and enterprise applications expanding, the firm is positioned to scale its innovations at a global level.
Final Take
India’s UAV sector is at a turning point. With its patented tech, indigenous design, and proven deployments, EndureAir is not just building drones—it is shaping the country’s aerial robotics future.
