Pet nutrition startup Benny’s Bowl has raised $1.4 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Atomic Capital. The funding will support the brand’s product innovation strategy and expansion across distribution channels.

Funding To Strengthen R&D And Product Expansion

The fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen product research and development, introduce new product lines, and expand Benny’s Bowl’s presence across both online and offline retail channels. The company also plans to invest in consumer education initiatives focused on pet nutrition and balanced dietary practices.

Building Functional And Everyday Pet Nutrition Solutions

Founded by Akshay Gupta, Benny’s Bowl operates in the pet nutrition segment with a focus on functional and everyday pet food products. The brand has recently introduced functional nutrition offerings targeting health conditions such as gut health, allergies, renal support, skin and coat care, and weight management.

The company aims to address growing awareness among pet owners around specialised dietary requirements and preventive healthcare for pets, positioning itself within the premium and science-driven pet nutrition segment.

Growth Trajectory And Market Expansion Plans

Benny’s Bowl claims to have recorded twofold revenue growth over the past 12 months, with approximately 85% of its revenue generated from repeat customers. The company is targeting ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by FY27 as it scales its product portfolio and distribution footprint.

Currently, the brand sells primarily through digital platforms while gradually expanding its offline retail presence as part of its omnichannel growth strategy.
