Initiative engages startups, investors, and incubators across six emerging startup hubs

Tally Solutions has concluded the first phase of its startup ecosystem initiative, Tally Startup Collective, aimed at fostering deeper, long-term collaboration between founders, investors, incubators, and ecosystem partners across India. The initiative was launched in partnership with Sanchi Connect and ran as a three-month engagement programme between October and December 2025.

Building Engagement Beyond Traditional Startup Hubs

The first phase of the Tally Startup Collective was conducted across six emerging startup cities—Hyderabad, Indore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Bhubaneswar—reflecting the growing momentum of entrepreneurship beyond India’s traditional metro hubs. Startups across multiple growth stages participated, engaging through a mix of in-person forums and a dedicated digital community platform designed to sustain dialogue beyond physical events.

Structured Founder–Investor Interactions

The programme brought together a curated network of incubators, angel investors, and venture capital firms, enabling founders to interact with investors aligned to their business stage and sector focus. Engagements were structured through keynote sessions, panel discussions, investor AMAs, and one-on-one pitch meetings. Discussions focused on fundraising readiness, investor–founder alignment, and building sustainable, investor-ready businesses.

Strong Participation from Non-Metro Regions

Founder participation from non-metro regions emerged as a key highlight of the initiative. Engagement levels were driven largely by the relevance of content and access to ecosystem stakeholders, rather than event-led visibility. This reinforced the need for structured, long-term platforms that address the specific challenges faced by founders outside major startup hubs.

Digital Community Shows Early Momentum

The digital community platform, introduced as the second pillar of the initiative, has shown early signs of meaningful engagement. All early interactions were intent-driven, with founders using the platform to explore peer collaboration, ecosystem support, and ongoing engagement with Tally’s leadership.

Leadership Perspective

Commenting on the initiative, Jayati Singh, Chief Marketing Officer at Tally Solutions, said the programme is designed to create continuity and long-term partnership for founders seeking structured access to the ecosystem. Dr. Sunil Shekhawa, CEO of Sanchi Connect, added that the initiative provides founders with the right context, discipline, and relationships required to build scalable businesses.

What’s Next

Following the pilot phase, Tally Solutions plans to expand the Startup Collective by increasing mentor and investor participation, adding practical learning resources, introducing structured mentorship hours, and deepening engagement across both metro and non-metro regions. The next phase will focus on scaling outreach and improving measurable outcomes for founders nationwide.
