Game production and live services startup Liquidnitro Games has raised $19.1 million in a Series A funding round led by Northpoint Capital, with participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners.
The Hyderabad-based company had earlier raised $5.25 million in a seed funding round in March 2024, led by Nexus Venture Partners, with backing from angel investors across the US, Canada, Europe, and India.
Liquidnitro plans to deploy the fresh capital to scale its AI-enabled game production and live services platform, expand co-investment partnerships with global publishers, and strengthen its presence across international markets.
Founded in December 2023 by former Electronic Arts (EA) executives Sandeep Kowdley, Krishna Dhanekula, Arun Kunchala, and Suresh Manthena, Liquidnitro operates a differentiated model that blends technology, talent, and capital. The company combines an AI-driven production and live services platform with experienced operating teams that have worked on large global gaming franchises.
Unlike traditional game service providers, Liquidnitro also co-invests alongside publishing partners, enabling it to retain long-term ownership and upside from the performance of the games it helps build and scale.
The startup works closely with game publishers to develop, operate, and expand titles across platforms and geographies, with a strong focus on live operations, content updates, and regional market adaptation. Its platform is designed to analyse player behaviour across markets and dynamically tailor gameplay systems, progression mechanics, and content strategies.
Over the past two years, Liquidnitro has partnered with multiple global publishers, supporting large-scale titles through live operations, localisation, and international expansion. With the Series A funding, the company aims to deepen these collaborations and accelerate its growth as a long-term partner in the global gaming ecosystem.
