Mumbai-based skincare startup Be Clinical has raised Rs 6 crore in a seed funding round led by V3 Ventures, with participation from Titan Capital, founded by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, which has increased its exposure to the brand.
The funding follows an earlier Rs 2 crore investment in the same round led by Titan Capital, with participation from P-TAL founder Aditya Agarwal. With the latest infusion, Be Clinical is strengthening its capital base to scale research-driven product development.
According to the company, the fresh proceeds will be deployed towards expanding in-house research and development capabilities, conducting clinical trials, and creating targeted solutions addressing ageing-related concerns across the face, body, and scalp.
Founded in May last year by Hemangi Dhir, Be Clinical positions itself as an evidence-led skincare brand offering clinically tested solutions tailored specifically for Indian skin types and environmental conditions. The brand focuses on transparency, dermatological validation, and measurable outcomes, supported by in-house formulation and manufacturing.
Be Clinical aims to address gaps in the Indian skincare market, particularly the limited availability of science-backed, clinically validated products designed for local skin concerns. The company claims its differentiation lies in in-vivo tested formulations, responsible ingredient selection, and end-to-end control over research and production.
Since launch, the brand says it has served more than 25,000 customers, indicating early traction and growing consumer trust in its clinical first approach.
Going ahead, Be Clinical plans to expand its manufacturing facility by adding advanced machinery to improve production scale, quality consistency, and process control. It also intends to upgrade its packaging formats to enhance product stability while reinforcing its premium, clinical-grade positioning.
The brand operates in the competitive anti-ageing skincare segment alongside players such as Olay, Neutrogena, Clinique, and Dr. Sheth.
