CuePilot AI Raises $1.8 Mn to Automate Preschool Operations Using Voice AI

0

Early childhood education-focused startup CuePilot AI has raised $1.8 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Unilazer Ventures, backed by Ronnie Screwvala. The round also saw participation from Eximius Ventures and Titan Capital.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its voice and AI technology stack, build integrations for new markets, and expand go-to-market efforts across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and eventually the United States.

Automating Operations for Preschools and Daycares

CuePilot is building a voice-first, AI-native management platform designed specifically for preschools and daycare centres, a segment where operational processes remain largely manual and fragmented. The platform automates a significant portion of administrative work, helping schools reduce dependence on spreadsheets, messaging apps, and legacy software.

Teachers can record short voice debriefs, which the system converts into structured academic updates, operational records, and parent-facing communication. According to the company, this reduces screen time for educators and allows them to focus more on classroom engagement and child development.

Full-Stack Platform for Early Education

CuePilot operates as a full-stack solution, covering academics, attendance tracking, health logs, billing, admissions, and parent communication within a single system. The startup aims to bring standardisation and operational efficiency to a sector that has historically lacked dedicated, modern software tools.

Scaling Globally

The startup currently works with over 130 schools across India and Southeast Asia. CuePilot plans to scale to 1,000 schools globally over the next 12–18 months, with a strategic focus on the US market, where average revenue per school is significantly higher.

CuePilot’s expansion reflects growing demand for AI-driven tools in early education, as operators seek scalable ways to improve efficiency without compromising classroom quality.
