The Indian government has officially ordered a detailed investigation into ride-hailing companies like Ola, Uber, and Rapido for allegedly charging different fares on Android and iOS devices for the same rides.

This directive was issued by Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Pralhad Joshi, who expressed concerns over what he described as “unfair trade practices.”

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has been tasked with investigating these claims and submitting a report as soon as possible.
