Deepinder Goyal Becomes India’s 2nd Biggest Self-Made Entrepreneur

Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, is now India’s second-biggest self-made entrepreneur, as per Hurun India 2024. This comes after Zomato’s valuation shot up by 190% to an incredible ₹2,51,900 crore. Goyal stands just behind Radhakishan Damani, founder of Avenue Supermarts (₹3.4 lakh crore), who continues to lead the list.

Swiggy founders Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy take third place, with Swiggy’s valuation increasing by 52% to over ₹1 lakh crore, following its public listing this year.

At just 21 years old, Kaivalya Vohra, co-founder of Zepto, became the youngest entrepreneur on the list. Zepto grew by 259%, reaching a valuation of ₹41,800 crore.
