Investor-Only Forum to Bring Together VCs, Family Offices and Policy Leaders in Gurugram

TiE Delhi-NCR is set to host the second edition of Capital Connect 2026 on March 18 at Leela Ambience, Gurugram, as India’s startup ecosystem enters a more mature phase of capital formation. Supported by SIDBI, the investor-only forum will bring together venture capital funds, family offices, private equity investors, limited partners, and institutional capital to decode the next phase of investment opportunities in India’s innovation economy.

The event comes at a time when India’s startup ecosystem has crossed 2 lakh ventures and continues to draw strong global attention. India is now counted among the world’s top three tech-startup funding hubs, with Indian tech startups raising $10.5 billion in 2025. Against this backdrop, Capital Connect 2026 aims to create a focused platform for serious capital allocators to engage with market signals, sector trends, and policy developments shaping long-term investment decisions.

Agenda to Decode India’s Capital Architecture

According to Upasana Sharma, Executive Director, TiE Delhi-NCR, India has moved beyond the stage of promise and is now entering a phase where capital deployment requires conviction and clarity. She said Capital Connect was created as a forum where serious investors can cut through the noise and assess where India’s next growth cycle will emerge.

The 2026 agenda will examine capital flows into high-growth sectors, balancing risk and return, the rising role of family offices in tech investing, sovereign capital participation, and new pathways for deeptech funding. It will also discuss how emerging fund managers are shaping the next wave of alpha and how India’s research ecosystem is evolving toward innovation-led growth.
