India’s clean-label nutraceutical brand Wellbeing Nutrition has reported over 100% year-on-year growth, closing FY25 with ₹170 crore in revenue. Despite strong topline growth, the company’s losses widened to over ₹30 crore, as confirmed by its spokesperson.
FY25 Performance and FY26 Projections
In Q1 FY26, the Avnish Chhabria-led startup recorded ₹80 crore in revenue, with contribution margin (CM3) losses at around 2%. The company expects these margins to improve in upcoming quarters.
Looking ahead, Wellbeing Nutrition is targeting ₹350 crore in gross sales in FY26, while also working to reduce losses by 20–30%. For FY27, the brand has projected ₹600–650 crore in revenue and aims to turn EBITDA-profitable by the end of FY26.
Revenue Channels and Market Reach
Currently, online channels such as its D2C platform, Amazon, Nykaa, and quick commerce partners contribute nearly 70% of total sales. Retail distribution—including pharmacies, modern trade, malls, and airports—accounts for 25%, while exports contribute 5–10%.
The brand has expanded its offline presence to 3,700+ retail stores across India and is shipping to 25+ international markets, including the US, UK, UAE, and Southeast Asia.
Funding and Expansion Plans
According to startup data platform TheKredible, Wellbeing Nutrition has raised close to $14 million in funding to date. This includes a $10 million Series B round led by Fireside Ventures and Hindustan Unilever (HUL) in December 2022.
Founded in 2019, Wellbeing Nutrition has built a diverse portfolio across sleep, immunity, beauty, and stress management categories. The company now plans to introduce 20–25 new products in FY26, tapping into emerging segments like kids’ nutrition and gut health.
Competition in the Nutraceutical Space
The nutraceutical and wellness market in India is becoming increasingly competitive. Wellbeing Nutrition is competing with brands such as Oziva, Kapiva, Gynoveda, and Nyumi, all of which are racing to capture consumer health demand. With its triple-digit growth trajectory and focus on scaling profitably, Wellbeing Nutrition is positioning itself as one of the top contenders in India’s fast-growing wellness ecosystem.
