Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Coastal Cloud for $700 million (around ₹6,286 crore) in one of the largest deals in its history. The acquisition strengthens TCS’ position as a global leader in AI-led digital transformation and significantly deepens its presence in the fast-growing Salesforce services ecosystem.

Founded in 2012, Coastal Cloud is a multi-cloud Salesforce Summit Partner known for enterprise-scale transformation projects. The firm specialises in AI-driven advisory services and business consulting across Sales, Service, Marketing, Revenue, CPQ, Commerce, and Salesforce Data Cloud. Its nominations to the Salesforce Partner Advisory Board give it influence in product innovation and emerging service models. The company is led by Salesforce veteran Eric Berridge, who has built and scaled multiple Salesforce-focused ventures.

This acquisition builds on TCS’ earlier Salesforce expansion. In October 2025, TCS acquired ListEngage, another Summit Partner with strong expertise in Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Agentforce. With Coastal Cloud, TCS adds 400 multi-cloud professionals with more than 3,000 Salesforce certifications, further strengthening its global advisory, AI and data capabilities.

TCS CEO Aarthi Subramanian described the deal as a “pivotal milestone” in advancing the company’s Salesforce and AI transformation agenda. She said the combined leadership of Eric Berridge and Altaf Shaikh from ListEngage will help drive the next phase of growth for TCS’ expanding Salesforce practice.

Coastal Cloud reported $132 million in consolidated revenue for FY 2024 and $141 million over the last twelve months ending September 2025. TCS expects strong synergies across industries and enhanced access to the mid-market customer segment. With both acquisitions, TCS is set to become one of the top five Salesforce advisory and consulting firms globally.

Berridge said joining TCS will allow Coastal Cloud to deliver “greater depth, speed, and scale” as customers accelerate their digital and AI-driven transformation journeys.
