The man behind India’s favorite Greek yogurt and lifestyle snacking revolution leaves us too soon.

The startup world woke up to heartbreaking news Rohan Mirchandani, co-founder of Epigamia, passed away on December 21 due to a heart attack. He was just 41.

Rohan wasn’t just a name; he was a force of change in the FMCG world. In 2013, he co-founded Epigamia, a brand that turned the simple idea of snacking into something modern, healthy, and exciting. From creamy Greek yogurt to almond milk and plant based snacks, Epigamia became the go to choice for people looking for healthy lifestyle products.

A Journey of Dreams

Rohan’s story began in New Jersey, USA, where he studied at Bergen Catholic High School. He then went on to graduate from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2004, specializing in finance and international business. But he didn’t stop there he pursued his MBA at the prestigious Wharton School, shaping the skills that would later help him create Epigamia.

The Rise of Epigamia

When Rohan founded Epigamia in Mumbai, he didn’t just want to build a brand he wanted to redefine how people snack. With a focus on quality and innovation, the brand became a household name. Epigamia even caught the attention of Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone, who became one of its investors.

A Heartfelt Loss

Rohan’s passing is a huge loss for the FMCG and startup world. He joins a growing list of entrepreneurial leaders who left us too soon, including Pepperfry’s Ambareesh Murty earlier this year.

Through Epigamia, Rohan created something timeless, a brand that will continue to make an impact. His vision, hard work, and passion will always be remembered.

Rohan’s legacy will continue to inspire future entrepreneurs to dream big and make a difference.
