Online astrology platform AstroTalk has rapidly scaled its e-commerce business, with its spiritual products arm AstroTalk Store generating over ₹140 crore in revenue in calendar year 2025, the company said in a statement.

Launched in November 2024, the AstroTalk Store is currently operating at an annualised run rate (ARR) of more than ₹200 crore, marking one of the fastest scale-ups in India’s trust-led spiritual commerce segment.

From Pilot to Scaled Business

AstroTalk said the Store was initially incubated with a modest internal investment of ₹30 lakh, aimed at testing demand for authenticated, astrology-led spiritual products. Following early traction and strong repeat purchases, the company infused an additional ₹40 crore to scale inventory, strengthen supply chains, and expand product categories.

During FY25, the Store processed over 1.6 million orders, indicating strong consumer adoption within a short period of launch.

Product Range and Consumer Demand

AstroTalk Store currently offers more than 300 SKUs across categories such as rudrakshas, gemstones, bracelets, idols, and ritual essentials. The company plans to expand its catalogue by adding 500 additional products by FY27.

“The spiritual and astrology-led products market in India has always been large but extremely fragmented. Consumers were either buying from local vendors with no standardisation or from small online sellers where authenticity was questionable,” said Puneet Gupta, founder and CEO of AstroTalk.

Tier-II and Tier-III Markets Drive Growth

The platform reported a 24% repeat purchase rate, underscoring early trust and engagement. Nearly 50% of future sales are expected to come from Tier-II and Tier-III cities, highlighting the growing appetite for organised spiritual commerce beyond major urban centres.

Looking ahead, AstroTalk is targeting ₹400–500 crore in ARR by FY27 for its e-commerce vertical.

Overall Business Performance and IPO Plans

In FY25, AstroTalk’s overall revenue rose to ₹1,176 crore, up sharply from ₹651 crore in FY24, reflecting strong growth across its core astrology services and commerce-led offerings.

The company is currently in mid-stage discussions to raise $50–100 million at a unicorn valuation, and has also begun preparations to initiate its IPO process in the coming months, according to earlier disclosures.

Outlook

With strong early traction, improving repeat rates, and expansion into smaller cities, AstroTalk’s e-commerce arm is emerging as a meaningful revenue driver. As the company gears up for fundraising and public market readiness, investors will closely watch execution consistency and scalability of this trust-based commerce model.
