Ambak Valued at ₹450 Crore After ₹69 Cr Series A; Peak XV, Z47 Dominate Round

Home loan startup ambak has initiated its Series A funding round, seAmbak Raises ₹69 Crore Series A Led by Peak XV & Z47; Valuation Jumps 76%curing ₹69 crore (approximately $7.84 million) in a tranche co-led by existing investors Peak XV Partners and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners). The round also saw participation from DeVC, Advantage Technology Fund, Calabasas Ventures, AngelList, and a group of prominent angel investors.

This fresh capital infusion comes shortly after Ambak announced a $7 million Seed and Pre-Series A round in January 2025, also led by Peak XV Partners. The continued backing from institutional investors highlights sustained confidence in Ambak’s technology-driven approach to modernising India’s home loan ecosystem.

According to the company’s latest RoC filing, Ambak’s board approved the issuance of 3,111 Series A CCPS and 10 equity shares at an issue price of ₹2,20,405.6 per share to raise the ₹69 crore. Peak XV and Z47 contributed ₹26.62 crore ($3 million) each, while DeVC and Advantage Technology Fund invested ₹6.65 crore and ₹6.28 crore respectively. The remaining amount was raised from Calabasas Ventures, AngelList, and angels including Sushmita Mathur, Ojaswa Sharma, and Anil Kumar Goteti.

Entrackr’s valuation analysis indicates a sharp rise in Ambak’s value, with the company now worth ₹450 crore ($51 million) post-money, marking a 76% jump from its previous valuation of ₹255 crore. This positions Ambak among the fastest-appreciating early-stage fintech startups in India.

Founded in 2023, Ambak offers a transparent, tech-enabled three-step home loan process, leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and advanced bank rule engines to match customers with suitable financiers. The platform’s assisted model simplifies workflows for both borrowers and lending partners, addressing long-standing bottlenecks in India’s mortgage market.

Ambak’s latest funding round will accelerate product development, strengthen partnerships, and scale its presence across key urban markets.
