Travel products platform Escape Plan has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round led by Jungle Ventures, with participation from Fireside Ventures and strategic investor IndiGo Ventures.

The funding marks a significant scale-up milestone for the Bengaluru-based startup, which is building a full-stack travel products brand focused on India’s fast-growing base of frequent and aspirational travellers.

Earlier funding and investor backing

Escape Plan had earlier raised $5 million in July last year through Jungle Ventures’ First Cheque Jungle initiative, with participation from Fireside Ventures and several angel investors.

With the latest round, Jungle Ventures continues to double down on the company as it accelerates brand-led expansion in a competitive travel gear and mobility solutions market.

Capital to fuel brand, retail, and distribution expansion

According to the company, the fresh proceeds will be used to strengthen its brand positioning, pricing strategy, and distribution network across India and select international markets.

A key focus area will be expanding Escape Plan’s omni-channel presence across metro, tier I, and tier II cities. The company plans to grow its physical retail footprint to over 200 stores, while increasing product availability across major travel hubs, airports, and high-traffic corridors.

Founder vision and business model

Founded in 2025 by Abhinav Pathak and Abhinav Zutshi, Escape Plan is built around the evolving needs of modern Indian travellers.

The platform curates and develops luggage, travel accessories, and mobility-focused products designed for multiple travel use cases. It operates across online marketplaces, its own direct-to-consumer channels, and a rapidly expanding offline retail network.

The company claims it is currently operating at an annualised revenue run rate (ARR) of over ₹300 crore, driven by strong demand across cities, channels, and travel categories.

Technology and product roadmap

Beyond physical expansion, Escape Plan plans to invest in strengthening its core technology stack to gain deeper control across the value chain. This includes systems to improve speed, inventory availability, and consistency across channels.

The brand is also focusing on design-led innovation and sustainability-oriented materials, while continuing to sell a mix of in-house designed and partner-manufactured products through its platform.

Competitive landscape

Escape Plan operates in India’s rapidly growing travel gear and lifestyle products market, competing with D2C brands such as Mokobara, Nasher Miles, Uppercase, and Acefour Accessories.

The company also plans to enter select international geographies aligned with the growing trend of outbound travel from India.
