Personal care startup Clarity Labs has raised over ₹4 crore in a seed funding round led by Artha Venture Fund II, with participation from angel investors, at a pre-money valuation of ₹20 crore.
The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand into new categories, and scale its omnichannel distribution across D2C, marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms.
Founded in November 2025 by Karan Dokras, Clarity Labs focuses on functional, daily-use skincare solutions tailored for Indian consumers, with an emphasis on simplicity and effectiveness.
The brand aims to address challenges in India’s personal care market, where consumers often face product overload and complex routines, leading to low adherence. Clarity Labs positions itself around transparent formulations and measurable results, embedding treatment into everyday routines.
Its product portfolio includes solutions targeting common skincare concerns such as anti-acne, de-tan, muscle relief, and sensitive skin care.
The company launched its flagship functional soap line, “The BAR,” in March 2026 and has since expanded distribution across its D2C website, Amazon, and Flipkart.
Looking ahead, Clarity Labs plans to expand into adjacent categories including hair wash, body wash, and face wash, while continuing to innovate within its core soap segment.
The startup competes with brands such as DERMATOUCH, Ghar Soaps, Chemist at Play, and Hoop in India’s growing personal care market.
